2016 Commercial Division Apprenticeship Applications NEW
[1/21/2016] - Applications for a five year Apprenticeship Program in the Plumbing & Pipefitting Division will be available Mon.-Fri. February 29 - March 11, 2016 between the hours of 9:00 am and 12 noon. Applications will be restricted to the first 150 applicants. Applications must be completed by the applicant at the Local 9 Training Center, 450 Route 33 & Iron Ore Road, Englishtown, NJ. REQUIREMENTS:  1. OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS 2. [7/28/2015] - Local 9 was informed by the United Association that Local 9 member Dan Marquardt withdrew his protest of the election.  The recent election of officers and trustees is now official. more

[6/26/2015] - We regret to inform the newly installed officers, trustees and membership of Local 9 that Local 9 member Dan Marquardt has filed a protest over the election held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 with the General Office of the United Association.  At this time the results are on hold pending the outcome of the protest.  If any newly elected officer or trustee is reading this please respond to this memo so we don't have to contact you by phone. more

The Leadership and Members of Local 9 would like to welcome you to our website, where you will find a great deal of information about us.  As you peruse this site, you will discover that the Plumbers and Pipefitters of Local 9 work on projects of all shapes and sizes.  Our expertise is evident at worksites ranging from nuclear and conventional generating stations, petroleum refineries and pharmaceutical industries to universities, hospitals and local schools.  We can even be found working in small businesses, condos, apartments and single family homes.
